Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated/freezer units (-10°F to 40°F)
- Safely load/unload pallets of perishable goods using pallet jacks
- Conduct daily inventory counts and cycle counts in cold storage zones
- Adhere to strict sanitation protocols and HACCP standards
- Operate forklifts (certification provided) for product movement
- Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with team members for efficient workflow management
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments (4-8 hour shifts)
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Physical stamina for lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Reliable transportation to industrial park location
- Availability for weekend/evening shifts (Fri-Sun)
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification
