Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal refrigeration temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) for diverse perishable products
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory using FIFO methods
- Conduct daily safety inspections of storage units and equipment
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided)
- Monitor and document temperature logs and inventory records
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA sanitation protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient workflow
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in cold environments (0-40°F) for extended periods
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds and stand 8+ hours
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends
- Attention to detail and safety compliance focus
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification
