Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal cold storage temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) using digital monitoring systems
- Organize, rotate, and track inventory using FIFO methods in refrigerated environments
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely for loading/unloading refrigerated trucks
- Conduct daily sanitation and cleanliness audits of storage areas per HACCP standards
- Assist with quality control checks for perishable goods and report discrepancies
- Collaborate with logistics team for efficient warehouse operations and order fulfillment
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months experience in cold storage, warehouse, or refrigerated logistics
- Ability to work in sub-zero environments for extended periods with appropriate PPE
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Basic knowledge of food safety protocols and HACCP principles
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand/walk for 6+ hour shifts
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management experience
- Valid California driver's license preferred
