Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks and manage inventory within -10°F cold storage zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and temperature monitoring equipment following OSHA standards
- Conduct quality checks on perishable goods and maintain accurate inventory logs
- Adhere to HACCP protocols for food safety and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize storage efficiency and order fulfillment
- Report equipment malfunctions and environmental anomalies to supervisors
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems or willingness to learn
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain through company training
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 6+ hours
- Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
