Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated storage areas
- Safely load, unload, and organize perishable goods using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct routine inventory audits using barcode scanning systems
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA compliance protocols for food safety
- Operate and sanitize refrigeration equipment and storage units
- Document temperature logs and inventory movements in digital systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient product flow
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and work in 0-40°F environments
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
