Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Safely unload, palletize, and organize incoming perishable shipments
- Conduct inventory counts using RF scanners and digital tracking systems
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts (certification training available)
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols strictly
- Sanitize equipment and workspaces per FDA guidelines
- Assist with loading outbound refrigerated trucks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in cold environments (32°F to -10°F)
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable transportation to off-site facility
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends
- Valid government-issued ID
