Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated and frozen storage areas
- Safely load/unload temperature-controlled products using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct routine inventory audits and stock rotation (FIFO method)
- Adhere to strict sanitation and safety protocols (OSHA, HACCP compliance)
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and maintain clean workspaces
- Document inventory movements and equipment maintenance logs
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely shipments
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse/cold storage experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
