Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal cold storage temperatures (-10°F) using digital monitoring systems
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks with proper PPE and safety protocols
- Organize and rotate inventory using FIFO (First-In-First-Out) system
- Conduct daily sanitation and hygiene checks in refrigerated zones
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts after certification training
- Complete inventory counts and documentation in WMS system
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- Ability to work in temperatures below freezing (-10°F) for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and clean MVR record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly with proper techniques
- Basic computer literacy for inventory documentation
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
