Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated zones
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct quality inspections on perishable goods upon receipt
- Maintain meticulous inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in cold environments
- Operate automated storage retrieval systems (AS/RS) efficiently
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless logistics flow
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain through employer training)
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
