Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation of stored products
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move refrigerated goods efficiently
- Monitor and report temperature fluctuations in storage units
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with team members on loading/unloading procedures
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and safety checks
- Support quality control initiatives for perishable goods
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments (32°F - 40°F) for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and documentation
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Availability to work evenings/weekends as needed
- OSHA 10 certification (training provided if not certified)
