In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient handling of inventory within our state-of-the-art cold storage facility. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of product integrity and operational excellence. Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move products to and from storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Perform accurate inventory counts and maintain organized storage systems to ensure efficient stock rotation.
- Monitor temperature logs and ensure the cold storage environment remains within specified safety parameters.
- Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies or safety hazards immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows and meet daily production targets.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a secure working environment.
Qualifications
- Ability to work efficiently in cold environments (temperatures ranging from 35°F to 45°F).
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and inventory tracking systems.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus.
