Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and trailers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times.
- Perform routine safety inspections on forklifts and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Assist with inventory management by organizing stock and verifying quantities against manifests.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and traffic management.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory or operating warehouse management systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
