Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse and dock areas
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse efficiency
- Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience in warehouse setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, or weekends based on operational needs
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Reliable transportation to Seaport District location
