Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, stack, and organize inventory safely and efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company operational standards
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Assist in maintaining clean, organized work areas and storage zones
- Support cross-functional projects as needed during peak operational periods
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down forklifts in warehouse/distribution settings
- Strong understanding of weight distribution, load balancing, and safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
