Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily, reporting any mechanical issues to supervisors
- Follow strict OSHA safety protocols and company warehouse procedures
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting processes
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse workflow and productivity
- Document all material movements and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain through company training)
- Minimum 6 months of warehouse/forklift operation experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality
