Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in warehouse and dock environments
- Load/unload trucks and containers using precise material handling techniques
- Perform daily forklift inspections and maintenance checks
- Manage inventory counts and organize stock in designated zones
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Collaborate with receiving/shipping teams for efficient operations
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Reliable transportation to Long Beach facility
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexible availability for weekend/shift work
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
