Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Load, unload, and move products to and from storage areas, loading docks, and transportation vehicles.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate stock records using warehouse management systems.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (CFL or equivalent).
- Experience: Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or industrial setting is preferred.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- License: Valid Georgia Driver's License (Class C) with a clean driving record.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counting and strong attention to detail.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends or nights if required.
