Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment in compliance with OSHA standards
- Manage inventory movement, stacking, and storage in high-volume distribution centers
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Train new operators on safety protocols and operational procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Ensure workplace safety through adherence to all company policies
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating sit-down forklifts and reach trucks
- Certification in OSHA forklift operation and hazardous materials handling
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and overtime
