Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize workflow and meet deadlines
- Stack and organize materials in designated storage areas
- Assist with receiving, sorting, and processing incoming shipments
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina forklift certification (or willingness to obtain through our training program)
- Basic math skills for inventory management and material calculations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable transportation to our Charlotte facility
- Previous warehouse or industrial experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
