Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and transport materials safely.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure all safety protocols and machine functionality are met.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning and logging stock movements.
- Organize warehouse aisles and storage areas to ensure maximum efficiency and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating heavy industrial equipment preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory scanning systems.
