Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to transport pallets and heavy materials throughout the facility.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring cargo security and proper documentation.
- Organize inventory in designated storage areas to maintain an orderly warehouse layout.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, including cycle counts and stock verification.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid, unexpired forklift operator certification (CFL, Class I, II, or III).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Basic reading and writing skills for completing daily logs and safety checklists.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety protocols.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
