As a part-time Forklift Operator, you will play a vital role in our daily operations, ensuring that our supply chain runs smoothly and efficiently. We value reliability and safety above all else.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of forklift equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by counting stock and verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Collaborate with team members to organize warehouse storage areas and ensure efficient material flow.
- Assist in general warehouse duties, including packaging and labeling, as needed.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid, current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred but not always required for the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory management.
- Availability: Must be available to work part-time shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Background Check: Willingness to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
