Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in compliance with OSHA standards
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse efficiency and order fulfillment
- Ensure clean and organized work areas following 5S principles
- Adhere to all safety protocols and PPE requirements
- Support cross-functional tasks as needed during peak operations
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience in warehouse setting
- Strong understanding of weight distribution and load balancing
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable transportation and flexible weekday availability
