Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload palletized materials safely and efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and warehouse procedures
- Assist with inventory management through scanning and stock rotation
- Maintain organized storage areas and optimize warehouse layout
- Collaborate with receiving/shipping teams for seamless operations
- Document daily activities and report equipment/safety concerns
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 6 months prior forklift operation experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand/walk 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
