Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to move, locate, and stack merchandise safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo security and proper weight distribution.
- Perform daily pre-shift forklift inspections to ensure equipment is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock locations within the warehouse.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including wearing PPE and following traffic patterns.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to maintain a professional environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (required).
- Ability to pass a post-offer pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and weighing materials.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
