Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load and unload shipments.
- Inventory Management: Accurately check and record inventory levels to ensure stock accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Material Organization: Organize and stack materials in designated areas to optimize warehouse flow.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic daily inspections and maintenance on forklifts to ensure proper functioning.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure operational goals are met.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Experience: Previous experience operating forklifts is preferred but not required; we provide training for qualified candidates.
- Certification: Valid forklift certification (OSHA) is required if not currently holding one.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain high-quality standards.
- Availability: Must be available for Part-Time shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
