Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery to load, unload, and move products safely and efficiently.
- Inspect forklifts for safety issues and perform minor maintenance as required.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading and packing slips.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory to ensure optimal storage and retrieval processes.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets and deadlines.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience operating forklifts (counterbalance or reach) is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime if needed.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order verification.
