Responsibilities
- Safely operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts, Pallet Jacks) to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse floor to ensure clear aisles and safe passage for all personnel.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization using RFID scanners and inventory management systems.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding material handling.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a forklift is preferred but not required (training provided).
- Must possess a valid forklift operator certification or be willing to obtain one.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Valid driver’s license (Class C) may be required for local driving tasks.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
