Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (Forklifts, Pallet Jacks) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load, unload, and move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and delivery vehicles.
- Conduct regular pre-trip and post-trip inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Verify inventory counts and update stock records accurately using warehouse management systems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred but not always required for exceptional candidates.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy regarding inventory and safety checks.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and warehouse staff.
- License: Valid driver's license preferred.
