Responsibilities
- Safely operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Inspect forklifts and equipment daily to ensure they are in proper working condition, reporting any maintenance issues immediately.
- Organize and stack pallets of merchandise to maximize storage space and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding warehouse operations and equipment handling.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety checks and complete required logbooks and paperwork accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (CDL not required, but valid certification is mandatory).
- Previous experience operating counterbalance forklifts or reach trucks preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory or completing forms.
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record.
