Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, locate, and stack materials in warehouse settings
- Inspect and perform basic maintenance on equipment daily to ensure operational readiness
- Maintain accurate inventory records using handheld scanning systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading efficiency
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Support warehouse cleanliness and organization initiatives
- Participate in weekend and holiday overtime shifts as operational needs arise
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved) or willingness to obtain prior to start
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/forklift operation experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
- Valid state driver's license
