Responsibilities
- Safely operate counterbalance and reach forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift and post-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders to meet shipping deadlines.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate stock records.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize workflow and resolve any operational bottlenecks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience operating a forklift in a professional setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and a post-offer drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging inventory data.
