Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse setting
- Inspect and maintain forklift equipment daily to ensure optimal performance
- Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Manage inventory documentation and report discrepancies to supervisors
- Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflow
- Assist in organizing warehouse storage for maximum space utilization
- Complete routine maintenance logs and safety checklists
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse/forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and documentation
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Ability to work in fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment
