Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Organize, stack, and palletize merchandise according to company standards and warehouse layout.
- Perform daily quality checks on incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including the warehouse floor and storage aisles.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors regarding inventory levels and workflow needs.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to work a Weekend Shift (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Baltimore, MD facility.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and scanning.
