Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment (reach trucks, pallet jacks) to move, locate, and stack merchandise.
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring accuracy in inventory counts and order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.
- Follow standard operating procedures for all warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (Class A, B, or C) or willingness to obtain certification.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory management.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
- Must be punctual and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends if needed.
