Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, locate, and stack materials in designated areas
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure operational safety and efficiency
- Accurately document inventory movements using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Assist in maintaining clean and organized work environments
- Participate in weekend overtime shifts during peak seasons
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/forklift experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Flexible availability including weekends and overtime
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Forklift certification (Class I-IV) or commitment to obtain within 30 days
