Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs to prevent operational delays
- Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning systems and digital logs
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company material handling procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflow and productivity
- Support inventory audits and stock rotation initiatives
- Assist in maintaining clean, organized workspaces and equipment
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain through company training)
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or material handling experience
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and operational best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability for evening/weekend shifts
