Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick and pack merchandise according to customer orders using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Quality Control: Inspect items for damage and ensure packaging meets our high standards to prevent damage during transit.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock counts and organizing warehouse aisles.
- Material Handling: Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided upon hiring), to move stock efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a secure working environment for everyone.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when reading labels and picking orders.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a track record of consistent attendance.
- Basic Computer Skills: Comfortable using handheld devices and basic computer interfaces.
- Background Check: Must be willing to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as business needs arise.
