Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts as required.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick items from inventory based on customer orders and pack them securely for shipment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels by conducting regular cycle counts and updating inventory records.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and ensure all packaging meets quality standards.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment and report any maintenance issues to supervisors immediately.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on accuracy when picking and packing orders to minimize errors.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to follow instructions clearly.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
