Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with a focus on accuracy and speed.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock checks.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts (if certified) and pallet jacks, as required.
- Receiving & Shipping: Inspect incoming goods for damage and load/unload trucks in accordance with safety protocols.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the warehouse area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Quality Control: Perform routine quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors to ensure workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not always required for entry-level roles.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus on detail to minimize errors in order processing and inventory counts.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills and the ability to read and understand safety labels.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license is often required for loading/unloading duties.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn new processes and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
