Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks and trailers with precision, ensuring cargo safety and preventing damage.
- Sort, organize, and stage inventory pallets according to warehouse layout and barcode specifications.
- Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided for qualified candidates).
- Perform daily safety checks and maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist in inventory reconciliation and reporting discrepancies to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track product movement and update order status.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly with proper technique.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly under pressure.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions (loading docks).
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not strictly required for enthusiastic applicants.
