Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks and pallets efficiently and safely.
- Sort, pack, and organize merchandise according to shipping labels.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks as required.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Verify shipment contents against bills of lading and manifests.
- Assist in inventory control and cycle counting activities.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Good standing on a criminal background check.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (if outdoor loading is involved).
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
