Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise onto and off trucks, pallets, and conveyors.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing inventory counts using handheld scanners or tally sheets.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Quality Control: Inspect packages for damage and ensure proper labeling and packaging.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the warehouse floor, aisles, and work areas organized and free of debris.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or retail stocking is a plus but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety in fast-paced environments.
- Availability: Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
