Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload freight onto and off of trailers using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (certification provided).
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading and perform accurate counts.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all OSHA safety standards.
- Packaging: Properly package and label products to ensure safe transit and damage prevention.
- Equipment Handling: Operate material handling equipment and assist with maintaining machinery in good working order.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to read labels, identify product codes, and spot discrepancies.
- Reliability: Must have a consistent work history and excellent attendance record.
- Communication: Basic verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
