Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse operations to ensure timely order fulfillment and accurate inventory management.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and compliance standards to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies using warehouse management systems.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Resolve operational issues efficiently and communicate effectively with logistics and procurement teams.
- Ensure all equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) is maintained and in safe working condition.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics setting, with 1 year in a supervisory or lead capacity.
- Valid forklift certification and ability to obtain OSHA safety certifications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using warehouse management software (WMS) and basic computer applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
