Responsibilities
- Supervise 8-12 team members during daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, and shipping
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Optimize inventory management through cycle counts and WMS utilization
- Train and mentor staff on equipment operation and best practices
- Coordinate cross-functional workflows with transportation and purchasing teams
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and improve process efficiency
- Generate performance reports and recommend process improvements
Qualifications
- 2+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic data analysis skills for inventory reporting
