Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead and motivate part-time staff through clear communication and performance coaching
- Enforce OSHA compliance and safety protocols to maintain accident-free environment
- Optimize workflow efficiency using WMS systems and process improvements
- Conduct regular audits for inventory accuracy and operational standards
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling
- Resolve operational challenges with proactive problem-solving
- Prepare daily/weekly performance reports for leadership review
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10/30 hour training preferred
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Strong leadership skills with ability to train and motivate teams
- Excellent problem-solving and time management abilities
- Detail-oriented with high standards for accuracy and safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
