Responsibilities
- Supervise 5-8 team members during daily receiving, picking, and shipping operations
- Conduct cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Optimize warehouse layout for efficient workflow and space utilization
- Train staff on equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks) and safety procedures
- Coordinate with logistics team to meet delivery timelines
- Prepare daily productivity reports and performance metrics
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 2+ years warehouse/supervisory experience required
- OSHA 10/30 certification preferred
- Forklift certification mandatory
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying temperatures
- Basic math and inventory management knowledge
- High school diploma or equivalent required
