Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor part-time staff to ensure productivity and safety standards are met
- Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate warehouse documentation
- Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling and shipment tracking
- Resolve operational issues and escalate complex challenges to management
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse or logistics supervision experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficient in inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, SAP)
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings/weekends as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
