Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment
- Train and supervise part-time staff on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Implement inventory control systems to maintain accurate stock levels
- Coordinate with transportation teams for timely loading/unloading of shipments
- Conduct regular safety audits and maintain compliance with OSHA standards
- Utilize WMS software to track inventory and generate operational reports
- Resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in fast-paced environments
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Forklift certification and experience with powered industrial equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible shifts (evenings/weekends)
- Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Valid NC driver's license required
